Yes, Panthervision bulbs are ‘E’ mark certified (suitable for European use), compliant with ECE R37, and ADR51. They are rated at the same wattage as your original bulbs. (Higher wattage bulbs are not road legal)
Q - Will they melt or discolour my plastic headlight lenses?
No, Panthervision bulbs have a greater light intensity, not heat intensity. Plus, all bulbs have been ‘UV’ treated to protect plastic lenses
Q- What shouldn’t I do if I accidentally touch the glass bulb?
Never touch the glass tube as the oil from your skin can shorten the life of the bulb. If you do touch them, simply wipe the glass tube with alcohol
Q - Do I need to change or upgrade my wiring?
No, Panthervision work on the same power wattage as your original bulbs, so they won’t require any modification. Simply pull the old ones out and plug in Panthervision
Q – Are they easy to install?
Yes, they are a very simple swap. Panthervision bulbs have been designed for direct replacement of your original bulbs with no other parts, modifications or wiring needed. Most bulbs can be replaced without tools in just a few minutes. Please refer to your owner’s manual for your particular vehicle.
Q – I have seen other bulbs that are blue, do they have Xenon gas?
Majority of blue bulbs on the market are nothing more than blue painted glass bulbs which do not contain any xenon gas. Beware of any bulbs that use the word xenon on the packaging or their ads as most of the time the word ‘xenon’ is referring to the colour ‘blue’ and not the gas – this is very misleading for people looking for performance bulbs.
All Panthervision bulbs have been injected with a minimum of 28% xenon gas for superior performance
Q – Which bulbs do I need?
It is important to check to make sure which bulbs you need. There are a few ways to find this information; the first way is to check your owner’s manual for the bulb type. On some vehicles the bulb type is moulded into the outer headlight lens.
The most accurate and reliable way is to look on the base of your existing bulbs and read where the numbers are printed. There you will find the model number and the wattage.
For example ‘H4 12v 60/55w’, ‘H7 12v 55w’… etc
Q – Do your bulbs come with a warranty?
Yes, 90 day free replacement on all our bulbs – simply send back with your details, in their original cases and they will be replaced for free
Q – My vehicle has sealed headlight beams – can I still use these?
No sorry, you will need to purchase and fit a new housing unit before you can install new bulbs
Q – The bulbs I need are not on your website, what should I do?
If you don’t see your bulb type on our website, it can be because we are temporarily out of stock or we don’t supply them. We tend to only carry the more common bulbs, but we will be adding more to our range soon.
